The service provided by Dave Gould was excellent, he turned up on time and complete the job to a high standard.Dave was helpful, polite and took the time to explain the problem he encountered.I will be hiring Rakes and Ladders again and will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

It’s been a pleasure dealing with Dave. He does what he says he is going to do, he keeps you informed and he turns up on time. The first job was to replace a roof ridge tile that had come off in the storm, a small but very important job which he carried out straight away. The second job, renewing two flat roofs, was done when the weather conditions were right and at a time to suit me. Both Dave and his assistant worked very hard and to a high standard. Dave provided a detailed quotation so I knew what I was getting, he also did some extras without any additional charge. I am happy to recommend Rakes and Ladders and I will be very happy to use them again.

Single women and Seniors, indeed anyone, can trust this company. Rakes and Ladders did excellent jobs of replacing my old leaking toilet and taps and cleaning the guttering of weeds. David Gould was my first point of contact. He listened to what was required and visited to look at the plumbing. He was patient in discussing the plumbing job and we came to an agreement. Whilst he was here I noticed he had ladders on his van, for the second job I posted on here, and he also agreed to clean the front guttering of weeds. On the agreed day for the plumbing job David Gould was finishing work elsewhere but kept his promises and asked me if he could send a colleague instead. I was happy to be asked as it would have been worrying for another person to turn up when I had made the agreement with David Gould. Andrew Bevon arrived and he did a good job of the plumbing and I paid him however Andrew did not have ladders for the guttering. David Gould contacted me to check I was happy with the work and kept his promise to do the guttering a few days latter. I would definitely use Rakes and Ladders again as they are trustworthy; do what they promise to do; listen carefully to the customer and keep checking to see that all is well.

The service provided by Dave was professional, fast and exceeded expectations. Dave kept me up to date on the stages of work he was completing and explained the problems he encountered and how he would rectify them. I will be hiring Rakes and Ladders again shortly to finish the rest of the garden work I require and will not hesitate to recommend Dave in the future.

Really happy with the work rakes and ladders have done. We were having issues with damp on the pine end of the the house, Dave was really helpfull and explained the work that needed to be done. We are still having a few issues with the damp however Dave has remained in contact to ensure that the problem gets resolved and that we are happy with works provided. Overall we are very happy with the service rakes and ladders have provided. They are reliable and efficient in carrying out works. We have already recommened rakes and ladders to family members who are also very pleased with the work carried out.

He contacted me on the weekend and arranged to do the job on Monday. he turned up on time and completed the job to a high standard. i will definitely use him again.

Dave arrived when he said he would, quickly identified the problems and gave me a detailed quote the same day . I accepted the quote and Dave's team were over a few days later to do the work. I had to call Dave back because of an issue with the chimney capping and he came back and fixed it without any further charge. I'd definitely use Dave and his team again if we have any problems - he's polite, on time, sticks to his quotes and knows what he's doing. Update - we have a few more jobs around the house and will be looking to invite Dave back.
