Empire UPVC & Roofing Specialists LTD reviews (491)

Chris was very enthusiastic when you gave me a very competitive quote for replacing the flat roof. The team turned up on time, were very hard working , friendly and completed the job to an excellent standard within the 2 days Chris said. I’m delighted with the results and am already thinking what else Empire can do to improve the house. The quality of the workmanship has not gone unnoticed in the street and my next door neighbour but one is already interested in using Chris’ company. I cannot recommend Empire highly enough £

Turned up on time for the quote, presented a written and professional estimate and when the work was placed with them quickly attended to the job, had the scaffolding erected and the work completed. The whole job from quote to completion was within a week.

I was very impressed by Empire and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I chose Empire as they were the most responsive and had a clear competency evident from both the scale of their business and past reviews. The job was planned for 2 days and was to replace the felt roof on a flat dormer. On the first day when removing the existing felt the team discovered a significant amount of rotten boards that needed to be replaced. Chris responded quickly to the change in scale of the job. He arranged for new boards to be delivered within 2 hours and a 3rd person to join the team. The incremental cost to reflect the extra work seemed reasonable. This extended the work to 3 days but despite the impact this likely would have caused to ongoing jobs, the team made sure the work was completed to a high standard.

Quick efficient job, complete replacement of gutters done in under a day, minimal disruption as well would highly recommend to anyone needing guttering sorted. Good value for money.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Chris, Mat and his team. They have done a fantastic job to re-roof my house. Through out the work they have made great effort to achieve the best results sometimes under strong wind and heavy rain. We are pleased to see a wonderful finish to our new roof and we are sure it will keep our house more warm, energy efficient and especially away from any leaks.

Very satisfied with the quality of the work, the way it was done and the excellent customer service before and after. Chris and his team responded promptly to all phone calls and emails, provided a detailed quote, did the job on time, carried it out efficiently, carefully and in a friendly manner. No complaints. We would use Empire again.

I had a fantastic experience with Empire. I thought I had a problem with the flashings on my extension. Chris came to have a look the day after I posted the job, and had the experience to tell me that it was a different problem and explained the fix well - including the most elegant climb out of a window I've seen. The job was booked in for a week later at a good price. On the day, the roofers from Empire were prompt and courteous. They went above and beyond, repointing the coping stones free of charge despite that not being on the original schedule of work - the roof looks fantastic. It's been a stressful few weeks moving in, organising various tradespeople to do jobs - I have to say Empire gave me the easiest and most straightforward experience from start to finish - their communication is excellent.

This is the second we have used Empire roofing and again they arrived on time , completed the works to a very high standard with the minimal of inconvenience . We would 100% use Chris again and would recommend them to all

They arrived on time, were friendly, polite, and efficient. Keeping me informed of how they were getting on and what they were doing. Happy with our new roof and no more leaks! Great service from Empire.

The two guys that came to the house done a fantastic job our roof was covered in moss and on top of that the guttering was all full of it we also had broken tiles which were changed. The men worked till it was dark to get finished and a third man came to help them clear up. They showed me all the before and after photos which put our minds at rest. Great service from start to finish with excellent communication.
