Empire was very easy and pleasant to work with. They did the job quickly, efficiently and to a high standard and were very affordable. They also kept themselves to themselves and there was no fuss or problems to deal with. We almost didn't even notice that they were there. Highly recommended.

Turned up on time for the quote, presented a written and professional estimate and when the work was placed with them quickly attended to the job, had the scaffolding erected and the work completed. The whole job from quote to completion was within a week.

I was very impressed by Empire and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I chose Empire as they were the most responsive and had a clear competency evident from both the scale of their business and past reviews. The job was planned for 2 days and was to replace the felt roof on a flat dormer. On the first day when removing the existing felt the team discovered a significant amount of rotten boards that needed to be replaced. Chris responded quickly to the change in scale of the job. He arranged for new boards to be delivered within 2 hours and a 3rd person to join the team. The incremental cost to reflect the extra work seemed reasonable. This extended the work to 3 days but despite the impact this likely would have caused to ongoing jobs, the team made sure the work was completed to a high standard.
