Matthew was a very professional and genuinely sincere nice guy. His communication was always prompt and he provided great advice. A very skilled artisan that takes pride in his work. His price was fair and I was extremely pleased with the end product. Truly couldn’t rate Alex and Smartline Kitchens highly enough. Straight from 1st meeting and design stage Alex took us (amateurs) through various options we had with our kitchen space. I hope he doesn’t mind me saying but Alex’s mild OCD is to the benefit of his customers 😀, no feature was too big or too small. The electrics, flooring and worktop guys we went with through Alex were of the same high quality. Punctual every day, communication great, extremely tidy. Our utility room was in dire need of renovation. Mark and his team were absolutely awesome. From the moment he came in for the quote to the last inspection to ensure the job was 100% complete, all we dealt with was professionalism and politeness. His quote - not the cheapest but still reasonable- was all inclusive and he didn’t shy away from dealing with a couple of unforeseen issues uncovered once the job started. The job was done right, everything pulled out and he started afresh straight on top of the joists Everything is impeccable and we are very happy. We would recommend him and his team to any of our friends - in fact we already have.

As I am older than a lot of young tradesmen I have a great deal of knowledge and advice that I can offer my clients.
Martin was so accommodating to all our requests, and nothing was too much trouble for him to change or add to the job. The work was conducted at my mum’s house, and we had new upstairs/landing banister put in, converted our biggest room into 2, adding a partition wall and new door. Replaced all existing doors, architrave, and door linings to upstairs, put in a new door to the under-stair cupboard and Martin even repaired a door handle and replaced our garage door as it was falling apart. We are really pleased with his work - he has made a tired upstairs look so much better, lighter, and cleaner. He helped our vision of what we wanted to achieve come to life and offered great advice during the initial process. I can highly recommend Martin, he was always on time, made sure any floor surfaces that he’d need to walk on were protected, got straight on with the work and cleaned up at the end of every day. Great job by Dec. We had bad experience before him with rogue trader who never finished our kitchen and messed up everything he touched. Dec has taken this very difficult job or repairing what other person messed up and complete incomplete things which were started wrong way by the rogue trader. Dec has done an amazing job. Always on time and worked long days with hardly any stops. Can’t thank him enough. He’s had great attention to detail and he’s very precise. He’s very experienced too.
