CLUELESS ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE I hired Mr Patel for various jobs over the years and was initially pleased. However, one is only good as one's last contact with a customer. I needed him in May 2021 to investigate a boiler fault and perform a service. I arranged for him to come on the same day, a few hours later. About an hour before he was due, he sent me an SMS asking me to confirm his visit and giving me just ten minutes to reply. As I did not do so, he cancelled the visit and said that he would not come until the following week. This caused me much inconvenience, as I needed someone urgently. Mr Patel seemed to think that I sit by my phone, waiting for messages. It never crossed his mind that I might have been busy at the time. What is unacceptable is that we already had an appointment for him to come, made just two hours or so earlier. When I challenged Patel as to why he had let me down, he used the bureaucratic line that he always contacts customers to ask them to confirm. Clearly, Patel has much to learn about customer service. You also need to be aware that he is a bit of a salesman. And that HE USES A FALSE PROFILE PICTURE. The man that you see is not the one who turns up.

Lee serviced a boiler he had installed and he replaced a radiator. He is professional and very thorough. The standard of work is excellent. He does not rush andtakes extra care to do a good job. He did some plastering behind the old radiator at no extra cost to his quote. His IT support and documentation is very good. He is in great demand so it is sometimes difficult to pin him down. On the job he is very personable.
