My names dan and I've been in construction for 5 years as a scaffolder and concrete floor Operative doing sub base groundwork, concrete floor laying and setting up of large warehouse concrete pours, and concrete floor repairs, there are various things I cover in my day to day job aswell as work I cover from time to time on weekends which I am currently now looking to do more of, from gardens, landscaping, painting and decorating, furniture assembly, regular handy man work ect. My names Ben, I’ve been in the landscaping industry for around 8 years now working mainly around the West Midlands area and have only recently started working for myself under Earth and Oak. I am a confident and skilled groundworker with over 5 years experience in the industry. After getting my first taste of groundworks being assistant to a family member in 2019, I then attended Solihull College Woodlands Campus and achieved my level 1 bricklaying qualification. Leaving college, I began a groundworker’s apprenticeship scheme at RM Contractors which after 2 years gained me a Level 2 NVQ in groundworks. Since then, I have worked full time as a skilled groundworker in both front end and finishings for numerous groundworks companies. Over the last year, I have also acted as a ganger to a finishing gang and have hopes to at some point work as a site foreman.
