I am so very pleased with the way my patio turned out. Michael and his crew did a stellar job. The patio was in very poor shape due to incorrect installation and a drainage problem. Michael identified the issues, talked with me about the options for remedying the situation and I received detailed estimate of cost. The work was started and completed on time. The guys went out of their way to leave everything in perfect condition, even moving a very heavy planter back into the exact place I wanted. I could not be happier with the work. I cannot say how disappointed I am with this contractor, I asked him to put down boards on my grass, he never, I asked him to put a slope on the slab, he never, I asked him to put a slope on the Aco drain and he never, I asked him to power float it, he even quoted me to power float it and he never, during the concrete pour he was not even going to put in any DPM until I asked him and when I did ask him he said "If you want some" same when I asked him to put in steel reinforcements, the whole job was a disaster but worse than that he never came up with any ideas how to put it right, I suggested one option of putting one part of it right and he even cocked that up but the worse thing about this contractor was the fact he kept saying he would not leave me in the lurch, but he did, I even offered him the chance to put it right but he just pretty much walked away (by mutual consent) The concrete slab after 8 days has all cracked and the screed he put on the walkway has all broken away after 5 days and worst of all the whole area looks like a bomb has hit it as it has been left so uneven that other contractors have said that it is the worse job they have ever seen, Dan and the boys nice enough blokes but seem to have no clue how to lay a large concrete slab even after I told them twice what I wanted and made clear the pitfalls after having done this twice before.Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-
