Gary and his team were fantastic from start to finish. - Quick replies from the get-go once the job was posted. - Gary organised a visit the next day, turned up as promised (unlike other contractors who didn't turn up at all) and provided his honest opinion. Everything was incredibly transparent and thoroughly explained. - A quote was sent over next day and was very competitively priced and reasonable. - We had to reschedule the work, but the upfront communication from Gary was fantastic. The work was booked in for the following week with no issues. - The repairs were carried out to a high standard, with updates and pictures sent while I was away for work. Gary also identified issues with the window damp trays and replaced them at the same time. - Great cleanup from the guys after the work was completed. I'd thoroughly recommend Gary to anyone and everyone looking for a reliable and reputable tradesman. He's the go-to guy for any future brickwork or damp proofing.

I had a retaining wall built on my property (in Wrexham). GBD started as agreed, I Initially had a bricky and a labourer, as the job went on they then also supplied an apprentice to help speed the job. All the guys (including Steve the boss) were skilful, knowledgable, informative, patient and reliable. They were very easy to communicate with, I had a couple of request, they were only too happy to help with my requests. After having a few other quotes, GBD were not the cheapest, however, Steve knew what I wanted and gave some good advice of how the wall should be built. The job took a little longer than was first scheduled for, there was no extra cost. (Steve stayed at his original quote). I would have no hesitation in recommending GBD for any building work. From the initial decontamination and demolition through to the foundations, superstructure, and roofing, every stage was completed to a very high standard. Their attention to detail — including insulation, drainage, structural steelwork, and future-proofing the roof for later development — showed real skill and experience. The whole project has been carried out professionally, with clear communication at every step, as well as giving us advice and guidance too, they're knowledge and skill is impeccable. They are now currently in process of removing old external walls and installing the steel work. We are extremely happy with the results so far and would not hesitate to recommend Brendan and Andy for any building work!
