Full renovation with side extension, including: drainage/foundations, internal and external walls, main & flat roofs, windows, full bathroom & kitchen fit and landscaping front/back gardens. I don't normally write reviews but I felt obligated to because I have finally found a trustworthy and reliable builder with outstanding workmanship! I have been let down and taken advantage of by builders before but I can not recommend Sanj and his team highly enough. Sanj managed the project from start to finish, he liaised with the architect, local planning and Building Control as well as sourcing all the materials to ensure all the works were completed on time and to standard. It meant I didn't need to be "hands on" or give up any of my time. Sanj and his team were always punctual and never left our job for another until it was finished which meant the build was completed on time and to the agreed reasonable quote. Sanj and his team were always friendly and polite and always made time for use if we had any questions. Thanks again to Sanj and his team.

AVOID. I wouldn't recommend Mj Brickwork. Micheal promised to get the job done in 10 days took a whole month. Only working Saturdays and Sundays on my job. Charging me for materials which I paid for upfront then using my builders materials which were kept in the house. Should have done a health and safety file which he hasn't. I asked him for a breakdown of materials and still not received anything. Also had a £200 Cctv survey done through Michael which wasn't worth the paper it was written on.They my plans which I paid a £1000 for. Nothing added up in the report. No details of who did the report either. I have sent him messages and called him many times but is totally ignoring me. He's reading my messages, so he knows im trying to get in touch with him. Pay the extra to someone else instead of hiring Micheal. If you're reading this Micheal be a man and call me so we can sort this out.

Engaged this company to build single storey extension + internal refurb. 6/7 week completion quoted, didn’t start build until week 6 due to problems that builder didn’t know how to resolve (some still not resolved). Now in week 12, job still nowhere near finished. Out of potential 58 working days since start men on site for 21. Payment plan agreed at start, Started asking for more money (off plan) so paid because he pulled his men off site until we agreed to pay (even though work not completed in that phase). Asked for more money again this week because of cash flow problems (this phase nowhere near complete) so we refused. Took his men off site again. Turned up on doorstep today, handed us some paperwork and told us he was pulling out of the job. Another builder has looked at work done and has said the build is unsafe, RSJ’s not fixed in place and liable to tilt with the weight of the roof. Besides this we have been left in an appalling situation with the only water supply through washing machine pipes, no electrics to back of house and about 2.5 tons of rubbish on front lawn. This man has lied to us throughout and has sent an email packed with further lies to justify his actions. Half of contract price already paid, nowhere near half work done. We were having this work done in order that our 95 year old mother could come and spend whatever time she has left with us, this builder new this - absolutely no conscience. All this reported to Trading Standards. DON’T USE HIM.

It started off well as the only builder to come round, take measurements for the job at hand and make notes of what was entailed in the job which made choosing them easy. Communication was great. We were both out working 90% of the time leaving the house to Jason and his colleagues. Always around early and finishing up later on, cleaning up after themselves and updated regularly on work that has been done. Over the Christmas break, plans changed slightly to knock the downstairs through to make it all open plan. A price was agreed and work started back up after Christmas no problem. The only time the project was delayed was with the other trade subbies having to push our job back which was no fault of Jason's. All work was finished to a great standard and even the snagging bits were no problem to come and sort. From hearing stories of others having building work going wrong, I'm glad we found one of the good ones out there. Will definitely recommend and will use again in future.
