From the outset we found Ryan to be punctual and polite - at the same time maintaining a good professional balance between friendliness and over-familiarity. The level of detail in his bid far exceeded the other two bids, which got him off to a good start - combined with the fact that he was also the lowest bidder, and a local builder to boot, made him the clear favourite for us. We were not disappointed. Throughout the job, Ryan and his team were very tidy workers, unfailingly good-humoured and always keen to please - nothing was too much trouble for them. In the end, the job did take a bit longer than we had anticipated however the quality of work was first class, and we were totally satisfied. We would not hesitate to employ Ryan again.

Hi I am a general builder. I have been in the building for 22 years, trading for 6 years on my own through word of mouth and recommendation.I studied bricklaying at college and have a level 2 NVQ. I am also a plaster/Chippy/Groundworker/tiler all learnt from working along side other tradesmen.i also have a good team of other trades for the bits I don’t do and for bigger jobs. I take on all works from extensions to refurbs and landscaping.

Never finished job, took on too many builds elsewhere, put tiles roof on, leaked soo bad for two weeks, filled SIX 200 litre barrels, all insulating was wet and fell out. Roof had to be stripped and get a roofer in (Munton), Bricklayer didnt turn up for four weeks, and Paul didnt notice, called me to see if he had been in. Brickwork shocking (see website photo), Building inspector not called in latter half of build, no final inspection or sign off. Asked Paul for invoices, he cant supply me any invoices because he didnt keep records, Asked me what amount I would like putting down on an invoice. I had to pull down scaffolding on my own, in the middle of the night / dark and pouring rain, after being told it would be removed but no, Still up two weeks after being needed and it needed to be down as bifold doors were being fitted next morning, Paul wasnt interested.
