Based in Northampton Wilson Design has served the surrounding areas for over 30 years. The director starting out as a carpenter and joiner and became a qualified architect in 1992. Unfortunately Mr Wilson did not send me all the plans paid for, planning noticed the missing one and he then refused to send it unless I left feedback. I think this was planned to get the feedback and he wants me to lie so he can dupe other people. So I am £700 down and having to find another architect as he also hasn’t provided the builders plans paid for. He was very blatant in his emails, he knows he owes me the plans but is stating he refuses to discuss until I have left the feedback. I don’t think this is his real job/company as there is no trace of this on the internet. My builder also not overly interested as were meant to call today but haven’t. Martin is an absolute wonder! He had the most creative ideas of how to change room layouts and add space to transform our home. He even managed to obtain planning permission for a front extension despite every other builder and architect we approached saying it couldn’t be done. I cannot fault the service that we received from him, he always responded promptly and walked us through the whole process from beginning to end. He has been the best thing about our renovation and has given our once modest 3 bed semi the wow factor. A very positive experience. Our project included the design and plans for a reasonably sized double story extension with optional loft extension. Michael and team took the time to understand our plans and our tastes in detail and worked through the big and small decisions in a pragmatic and methodical way. We are very happy where we have ended up. We will be progressing the project with MLA as our key partner. Mizanur most recent job for me was advising, preparing and submission of a rear single storey extension plan to Coventry City a Council for a buy to let property that I purchased in Sept 2015. The planning was submitted around end of November and was approved in 18th Jan 2015. Mizanur also advised, prepared and submitted a double storey side and single storey extension for my residence in 2012 which was also approved by the council. This was a complicated build which was successfully completed in Feb 2015. Mizanur is a true professional, very knowledgeable, quick of the mark, reliable and trustworthy. I would recommend his services to anyone seeking planning permission small , medium or large extension. Not had work done as of yet so review is regarding the CAD Drawings. Huw was very professional and listened to what we wanted to have done. Huw explained thoroughly with his views and explained several times as what he would be doing. Huw then once he had all measurements within a short time frame sent over the drawings/ estimate. The drawings were very professional, clear, and well presented. After explaining to Huw if we could re- do drawings to to our budget Huw was able to send drawings to within our budget. These were also drawn up to a very high standard.Nothing has been of a burden to Huw. He has been able to answer any questions asked and has been extremely helpful.He has remained throughout to be professional, very patient, polite, clear and concise. After asking friends and looking through reviews, I contacted House of Architecture to provide a quote for our 2 storey extension and garage conversion. look at my roof. They were so helpful we felt very comfortable to instruct them to carry out the architectural plans, submit them to the local authority etc. They walked us through the process, provided us with some much needed advice and design ideas, and took over dealing with the council and contractor, keeping me in loop every step of the way.
