Get in touchVery poor experience, we employed Advance to build a 2 Storey extension unfortunately we had to terminate the contract of the company at first floor joist level due to consistent issues in regards to quality of build, not reading the drawings or spec leading to incorrect materials being used or sub standard materials for the project. Protection of property and general onsite cleanliness including leaving constant food and drink on our property. We had numerous issues with labour being onsite it was a build during winter that comes with its own problems however even good days were consistently missed with no communication from the management. We had to get numerous people out to review the build as it didn’t appear the onsite management understood the basic standards and requirement for the build. Finally after agreement and release of final pay the company refused to pay the scaffolding company for the works done on our property leaving ourselves with the further issue of scaffolding after we had paid. Whilst the company gave a cheap price it was just not worth the subsequent stress and issues caused by Advance construction and their poor onsite management.Latest review:Extensions-

Get in touchWe contacted Guy Harrison as we had a badly built unsightly garden retaining wall which we wished to replace. On placing the job on "My Builder" Guy immediately contacted us and called to view the job. After measuring and discussing the job Guy left, the following day we received a detailed quote by email and subsequently requested that the work be put in hand. We are 100% satisfied with the service and attention received from start to finish. Guy proved pleasant and nothing was too much trouble, he is most reliable, arriving on time and working continuously when on site, he is a clean worker making the minimum of mess and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the finished job which also included a "french drain" and drainage pipework so we do not envisage any further problems. We install flat roof coverings including Cure it GRP system, as well as rubber roofing. We also provide repair services. We are based in Otley, and work in and around the surrounding areas.
Get in touchDaniel called me and arranged to come and provide an estimate. He came at the weekend as arranged. I was happy with the estimate and gave him the go ahead to carry out the work. He told me how long it would take and what day he would start. All went to plan as arranged. He and his colleague did a very neat job.
