Arran started the works on the day agreed and ensured the build continued on schedule to completion. His attitude to work was very professional and his bricklaying finish was quite meticulous. Very pleasant and obliging to deal with and nothing too much trouble. Have since recommended him to another friend which is something I would never consider unless I had been perfectly satisfied with his works for me.

My wife and I embarked on a 38sqm extension in March 2015. It included 3 steel beams, with 1 across the entire back of the property. The existing kitchen and dining room was extended, including a new room and bathroom. We entered the project with a degree of uncertainty. I was keen to choose a professional, trustworthy builder thus avoiding arguments and miscommunications. We met John twice. We were impressed by his easy manner, past experience, professional knowledge, reasonable price and equally, his excellent reviews. The project started in March 2015. John was present throughout. He volunteered updates, left the site clean and made the process as comfortable as possible. No easy feat, as we were still residing at the address with children. The project finished within the time scale and on a happy note. Other than the obvious bias of my wife and I, who are extremely pleased with the finished project, we equally receive constant compliments from others more neutrally regarded. Those that visit are complementary about the scale of the extension and its impressive finish. The attention to detail and high quality finish that I hoped for, is present throughout. If your home is your greatest asset, leaving it in the hands of someone else demands a great deal of trust and a jump into the unknown. Based on my personal experience, I am pleased that our instinct was vindicated. Entrusting our project to John Bedford, proved to be the best decision of all.

Excellent work by Jordan, Ella and the team. Took a punt as weren’t many reviews and he could start pretty much immediately but took his word that he just had a little gap and I’m glad I did. They’ve done some superb work in my daughter’s new bedroom. Never seen plaster so smooth if I’m honest! They worked pretty solidly for 2 days and stayed until 9pm at night to make sure it was done on time. Price was comparable to other quotes we had. Three big differences to other work I’ve had done in the house 1) communication - Jordan was excellent via WhatsApp and kept me updated 2) felt official - proper detailed pdf quote and then receipts afterwards too. 3) tidying - despite finishing late on a Saturday night they spent the time sweeping floors and hosing down the front drive which had got a bit of plasterboard dust on. All round A++ work and will definitely get them to quote if I have any other work done in the future.
