Paul was polite and answered some of my questions. However, he was not upfront with all his charges and the terms and conditions of his work. He did not complete ALL the work as per our initial agreement and he changed the goal post in regards to the terms of work. Additionally, he charged extra for his materials after he completed the work without prior notice or discussion. After the work was finished and the patio had dried, I noticed that some parts were not done. From start to finish, Ed and his team have been amazing! He showed up when he said he would for the initial consultation (others didn’t even bother turning up) and he has been present all the way through the works. He has checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with the driveway and how it was going and answered any of our queries. Communication throughout the works has been excellent! We had two teams of workers, one to prep the drive and another to lay the drive, both were hardworking, polite and respectful. I would happily have any of them back to carry out works on my property. Ed manages his team very well and is a perfectionist. I do all other aspects of landscaping such as fencing, artificial lawns, decking, turfing and much more. I take tremendous pride in my work and will not settle for anything less than perfection.
The driveway was completed above the standard expected, and he worked in a clean, polite, professional manner. I'd happily recommend his work to others and would hire him again for any other outdoor building jobs. I can't speak for the longevity of his work as it was only completed last week, however from the process and materials I saw being used I couldn't ask for better quality. Eddie did a brilliant job on our driveway. From start to finish, he was friendly, easy to talk to, and kept us updated the whole way through. When a couple of small issues came up (as they always do), Eddie didn’t make a fuss — he just got on with it and put things right quickly and professionally. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Everything was finished on time and to a high standard.
