Initially I hired Alf and team to knock down a wall between the dining room and kitchen. However, as the job progressed I also asked for the ceiling and the walls to be plastered and then for them to level and screed the floor across the two rooms. Throughout the whole experience I was accommodated when adding new jobs to the initial request. The lads who came were polite, professional and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and worked at a cracking pace. The work was of good quality and the price was reasonable. Very impressed and won’t hesitate to call for their services in the future. An excellent and reliable builder. James of J&M builders came out to see the job and was very knowledgeable and informative as to my questions about what I could and couldn’t do. The job was first class and finished to a high quality and ahead of schedule. The tradesmen were absolutely brilliant and we are very pleased indeed, an added bonus is that the work was done while we were away and we returned to a very tidy house and they even disposed of some rubbish left over from a previous DIY project. I would highly recommend J&M builders for any work needing done and we will definitely be using James and the team in our next project.

We cant fault the service from Josh - right from initial contact through to the end of the job, he has done a stellar job. He is courteous, helpful and most importantly does excellent work with a keen eye for detail. Josh made the whole process of splitting our large bedroom into 2 smaller rooms incredibly easy. As well as doing the joinery part of the project, he sourced and coordinated the other tradesman needed for the work, and made sure we were happy throughout the entire project with excellent communication. We are so happy with the end result and will definitely re hire J L A Joinery for other projects we would like to do in the future.

I wish there were more stars I could give! We hired Juke with some trepidation as we were new to the area and didn’t have any established relationships with any trade. Luke and Jerry arrived to give us a quote and they noticed a beautiful old doorbell that was broken and commented about getting it restored. That attention to detail and care about our project never wavered. I’ve honestly never met a build team who cared so much about the project and making sure we were happy all the way through. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. They’ve been professional, friendly, polite and a pleasure to have around. The team have converted a garage to an en-suite, installed underfloor heating & aircon, knocked down walls, new kitchen & bathrooms, repaired roof, new staircase and loads more! Our refurnished home looks sensational, and I’ve got a team I’ll rely on for life. I’m so happy we chose Juke for our project and I can’t recommend them enough. Even our doorbell looks amazing now!

We hired Paul to do our side extension after reading many positive reviews. We needed an existing side extension (utility) and garage knocking down and the existing kitchen ripping out. This then created the space for a new long kitchen and dining room, plus a new utility room. Paul has been great, would certainly recommend. His quote was competitive and fully considered. He recommended an architect at our request who was also great. Paul set out the project week by week so we knew what to expect and when. Paul and his teams did the demolition, new foundations, concrete slab, all brickwork, roofing, velux's, windows, doors, water, drainage and electrics. As well as multiple steels/RSJs. Paul is super friendly and easy to work with and his work and attitude were great - would highly recommend and will certainly use for the next project!
