Andy led by example creating a calm, productive working atmosphere in my home. The work I had requested was completed in the time as stated in the schedule, and the cost was as quoted beforehand, other than a small additional cost for extra work I asked for (and Andy let me know roughly how much this would be.) The cellar was tanked using specialist 'giant bubble wrap' (my description of the material!) and a 'sump and pump' system, as well as a fan to the exterior. He demonstrated how it all worked and the servicing required in the future. The woodwork was treated as necessary. Andy and his team were very clean and tidy, and they initiated Covid prevention strategies in my house. I was very impressed with every aspect of the work, and he followed his plans as written in the email quote and subsequent email updates. Andy used an electrician for the electrical work and I observed an excellent working relationship between the professionals. I felt confident in every aspect of Andy and his team's work. Andy has left my cellar ready to be plastered and a ceiling installed once I have the funds, hopefully next year. I explained I could not afford this just yet, and he did what I needed to be done to make sure the cellar is dry, functional and safe. Excellent work. Thank you Andy. I can highly recommend Smile Property Services.

However he failed to turn up when he said he would, then said he needed to delay the job by 10 days, and then failed to turn up again, with no warning. Ignored my phone calls and then told me over text he could no longer do it. Very unprofessional.

Excellent Job by Dan and Jed. Turned up on time and got started straight away. Completed the removal of the old wall and using the plasterboard I’d supplied blocked off the old doorway. They plastered to a high standard as agreed and removed the waste, leaving things to a high degree of tidiness. Pleasant working manner and very efficient. They even repurposed some of the old door frame wood for skirting, which was more than I’d asked. Will be hiring for work in the future. Great job 10/10

1st stage of conversion of garage into utility room complete with knocking through into garage, installation of lintel, door frame, door and architrave, remval of fireplace and making good with plasterboard and skim. Next job is to complete conversion of room. Will also employ to refurbish en-suite and any other jobs than need doing - easily recommendable.
