I like to buy materials myself and he advised the exact ones needed. Once we agreed the work he came and completed to an excellent standard which was signed off by the building inspector. I’ve been trading independently for 6 years now. The majority of my work is commercial drylining but I would like to start doing more domestic work as I enjoy it more. walls and ceilings are my bread and butter but I do do carpentry and refurbishment work too. I have 1 other who works for me but am very flexible with jobs.
