He did lots of different things in the kitchen and dining room, like knocked down an internal wall to create an open plan kitchen, strengthen the existing ceiling with timber, plasterboarded the walls and ceilings, leveld the floor, bricked the backdoor up. He also built a patio, that we are very much enjoying now! The initial quote was detailed and realistic. He always responsive. He helped us navigate and resolve a number of unforeseen challenges. The work consisted of a steel beam installation, electrics, plumbing, new radiators, plastering and door fitting. The team worked very hard to complete the project quickly, with a minimum of disturbance to us and communication was great throughout. All work was finished to a high standard and we are very happy with the result. I look forward to working with BDW Builders again for future projects. - Get in touchGavin and his team did a fantastic job on converting an attached brick built shed into a stunning downstairs shower room as well as creating an external doorway and installing patio doors onto the back garden. You would never know it used to be a shed! The workmanship from everyone involved was second to none. The house was left spotless at the end of each day and everyone was well mannered, polite and approachable. Would highly recommend Gavin to anyone else having any kind of work done.

He carried out the work very efficiently, speedily and professionally and we are delighted with the result. When any unforeseen hitches or queries arose he had the knowledge to solve them, however he consulted with us first to check we were in agreement with his solution. He started work extremely promptly each day, was never late or took time out for other jobs which so many builders do. He worked tirelessly each day and carried out a number of other unrelated jobs e.g. replacing an electric shower, stopping leaks on the toilet and mains stopcock, and re-hanging old doors as well as hanging new replacement doors. We highly recommend Richard, his workmanship is of a very high standard, he is completely reliable and trustworthy.Latest review:
