Get in touchPaid £700 to get leak fixed in conservatory. Phillip came back 3 times as it was still leaking. He stopped taking my calls so I Spoke to his dad Ken who is the other half of Minster builders. Ken came and looked said he would be back to sort out and would fetch replacement PVC for trim damaged by Phillip. Despite numerous phone calls and messages he also is not answering or returning calls and messages. I still have a leak and now have missing trim plus I am also £700 worse off. Get in touchDanny and his mates did a very good job and fitted two double glazed, composite doors in less than a day. Very tidy and considerate workers. Danny offered helpful advice during the door selection process and did not put pressure on me in any way in terms of decision-making. Only problem now is that it's quite difficult to shut and lock the doors owing to the tight fit! Get in touchAntony Acomb is a very nice guy and talks a good talk, but do not use him for anything other than building a small wall, we had an extension built by Antony Acomb (built! I use that term very losely) it should have taken 10 weeks but after 26 weeks and the work still not finished we had to remove him from our home, everything he had done has had to be redone, apart from the brickwork and that's not great, he didn't even channel out the drainage meaning we had to have a damp proof course and soak away done in a NEW extension, all the plastering has to be done again, the roof needs taking down and redoing, he stuffed plastic bags in gaps and covered with concrete, he didn't level the floor and he didn't even cap off the old drain he just covered it with tiles and then concrete, he didn't remove skirtings before laying the floor, the list is endless, I'm not exaggerating, John Fowler, manager of building control York said it was one of the worse builds he has seen in 30 years, his words were it's so dire, Antony is now trading under AA building and renovation Ltd, he took £15500 Of our hard earned money and then got a solicitor to demand another £3000, so far we have had to pay another £17000 to put it right, clearly this job was too big for him, this will be on going and we won't stop until we get our money back, but we need to warn everyone, tiny job, yes but bigger then stay well clear of Antony Acomb from Acomb maintenance and solutions or AA building and Renovations.Latest review:Extensions- - TH ConstructionConservatory Installer in York

We do everything construction related, including new build, refurbishment and conversions, from laying a patio, to constructing new build housing. We use local tradesmen, and have good relationships with planning and building control representatives, we also have Gas Safe Plumbing & Heating, and fully qualified Electrician Associates.
Get in touchI originally found TH Construction through 'My Builder' and when he came to look at the job to give us a quote he encouraged us to go and look at work already done by any builder we considered using. I took that advice and went to a job Terry had completed fairly recently and was very impressed by the standard of work done on that job. We got 3 quotes for our garden wall, Terry's was not the lowest but from what I had seen of his workmanship I was confident he would do a good job. He did not disappoint the completed job is first class. Another significant plus in Terry's favour is communication, my experience in the past with other builders is that they are notoriously difficult to get hold of, they never answer their phones. Any message to Terry was answered promptly, you always knew when to expect him he was completely reliable. I would use Terry again without hesitation.
