Unfortunately I would not use this company again to remove anymore of my fire places or recommend. It started very well with a call from Jerome very professional and polite, then Once appointed the frustrations began. They say they will be there at 3pm then, when YOU have to call them, they are just leaving another job and turn up 2 hours later. You finally get a quote agree the job to start the next day at 3pm Patrick turns up again late, to the point you know it’s getting late and the noise levels having to postpone for another day and then on the final day of the two day job say they will be there at 1pm and turn up after 2pm. To add to your misery and delay turn up the day of the work to be carried out without rubble bags to put the waste material into, which then turns into 30 mins plus journey to go and find the local diy store to get disposable rubble bags. Not forgetting they also don’t dispose of the rubble or old fireplace. Neither do they provide a vent once bricked up, you are just left with a hole and advised that they know someone that can plaster the wall for an additional £170 which will now be on top of the £350 paid. Unfortunately I would not recommend fire place removal from this firm, it was very frustrating two days. Guys you need to straight with customers from the start and on time.

Sean was a joy to work with. He contacted me within 24 hours of me posting a job, within the next 24 hours he was down to check it out. He had no problems working with a very difficult structural engineer and always stayed professional. He made sure to always keep me informed about a very single detail even though this was never required of him and kept me updated and always advised on the best possible options whenever we uncovered a surprise (i.e. Hidden gas pipes, missing joists, rotten joists, thin external walls) during the removal of both chimneys in my house. I'd definitely hire Sean again in the future for any brick related work.
