We chose Harry to fit our carpet as from the outset he was responsive when communicating, had flexibility and was local. On the job Harry was punctual and polite. Harry was efficient, quiet (as you can be for fitting carpet…) and he even tidied up after himself! We are very happy with his work and hope to get him back to fit other carpet for us.

While laying vinyl for me this man informed me that he knew someone I went to college with but refused to tell me who. Sadly he didn’t have the same discretion while discussing me (a potential client) with his friends before taking the job. He told me my new house was in a bad area and asked how much I paid for it. Stupidly I told him. He no doubt ran back to his friend to tell them. Of course what I should have said was it’s none of his business and he was highly unprofessional. Two-bedroom carpets, both rooms we stripped ourselves, all the old carpet had been removed, so it's just a fitting job. booked in and arrived on time, we helped carry the carpet upstairs as it was heavy. The front room was fine, but the back room, for some reason, was loose and puckering up in places. I contacted him and said he would come later in the week to correct and pick up his jumper he left behind. Well, that never happened, and it was holding us up. The company has a shop that we did not know about, and we won't be going there after this. Delighted with the refurbishment of the flat. Great communication, very flexible and helpful, and really high standard of work. Stefan also made some very helpful suggestions during the planning stages that improved the overall end result. Everything was very professional and on time, and we felt that the refurbishment was in very capable hands. This was not the cheapest quote we were offered but it was competitive. It was certainly the highest quality and most comprehensive quote we received, and everything stayed within budget. We were not living in the flat for the majority of the time it was being refurbished, but all the workers we met on our brief visits were great, and it was beautifully clean when we went to do the final handover.
