They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.

We are very pleased with the timber frame wall and above-stair work completed. He did a great job, listened carefully to our requirements, and also came up with some very good ideas throughout the project. The work took a little longer than originally expected, but this was due to additional work being completed along the way. Overall, the standard of workmanship was excellent, and we are very happy with the finished result.
