Two top guys, had Dave and lenny re skim my kitchen,as I'm having it all re done. Top guys, plastered to high standards. where here at 8am and cracked on with it. Simon came and gave us a reasonable price ,once we agreed he was there in a few days and completed the works. We are based in Weymouth and Portland and cover the whole of Dorset. We specialise in domestic repairs and re-skims and no job is too big or too small. I am passionate about my trade and was taught the 'old school' way taking pride in my finishing and cleanliness. I never ask for a penny up front, only when the work is finished and my customer is completely satisfied.
We had a lime ceiling get damaged during recent storm meaning it needed to be replaced in an attic bedroom, 5 floors up. The building is Grade II Listed so the job needed doing properly. We had a couple of quotes from trades on MyBuilder and chose Jerry Packer Plastering. The job was completed quickly and efficiently (given the contraints of the drying time of lime plaster) by Jerry & Ryan and they made sure that the carpets, furnishings etc. were protected. We agreed that the spoil would be removed and Jerry made a provison in the cost to include this. While chatting to Jerry & Ryan, you could really tell that they knew their stuff and I have no hesitation in recommending them as a really professional outfit. The finished job is of excellent quality so if you need any lime plastering doing (or any other type of plaster or render), I'd hire these guys.
