Restoration & Refurbishment- 17 May 2018
Keith Gary and Dan have done a wonderful job on my house starting with the roof and refitting including most walls. They have listened to what I wanted and carried out the recommendations from the lime company which has increased the insulation incredibly. The job was challenging due to lack of parking and access but they have worked amazingly hard to finish on time and on budget. Where possible Keith has salvaged and adapted existing fixtures and given lots of guidance and expert advice on decisions about what was practical and expedient . The volume of work was enormous due to the completely run down state of the property but it is now barely recognisable as a beautiful dwelling conserving as much of the original as possible. All the work has been to the highest standard and skill and structural reinforcement and repairs done wherever necessary. The existing heating system has been adapted and conserved where possible , again keeping the costs within budget, and the new kitchen and bathroom installed .Keith communicated with me at all necessary junctures and never seemed irked by daft questions or having to explain things more than once .He has made a lovely slate plinth for the kitchen woodburner and everywhere you look are examples of problem solving . So I am well happy with all the work and feel that I was very fortunate to have such skilled builders who never lost their sense of humour when things were very challenging with the weather and working conditions.

The job was completed with no hassle within 3 days of the quote, to a high standard. He left the site tidier than it began and was really lovely with the kids and family. Zac and Dom showed up midweek and we agreed a price and start date for that weekend. They made up a list of materials they would need and I ordered the materials. They messaged to reschedule for an evening during the week..then after additional texts did not hear until Thursday that they would show up for the next day. Again on the day I recieved a text that they were on the way and have not heard anything since despite numerous texts.We feel very let down and would not recommend.
