He was very polite and helpful highly recommended himLatest review:Carpentry- - Get in touch12 internal doors replaced whilst we were away on holiday.The house is Wimpey build 1991, so door frames are not 'consistent' in size etc, which would not help, however returned home 7 days later to find 3 doors sticking considerably and remedial work required on 9 of the doors in all, one of which had had the hinges put on the 'wrong' side initially. I asked another independant carpenter to come and give an opinion. He did and was dismayed by the standard of some of the work. When Phil returned to discuss my concerns, upon me asking a question on sizing/ fitting, his reply was "are you a carpenter ?". Well no I am not but I am/ was a customer ! The remedial work took Phil and his colleague 3 to 4 hours to complete. 94 good reviews is excellent but something was amiss on this occasion. -update- the fire door fitted in the kitchen is now 'rattling' !Latest review:Carpentry-

He turns up exactly as planned, always keeping me informed before and during the work, he uses the best tools and materials, is friendly and just gets on with the job to the highest standard. I recommend him wholeheartedly, a first class job at a very fair price. If you have work that needs doing Anthony is definitely your man!! Also I almost forgot to mention, Anthony is a very tidy and well organised worker and cleans up everything to the same standard as the rest of his work. We carry out groundworks,drainage,structural repairs,new build extensions,accident damage repair,plastering and decorating,plumbing,carpentry and brick/block work. We use sub contractors for electrical and gas work and are also approved contractors by Trading Standards.

Get in touchJob was to fit a new bathroom. Said job would be finished August 16th actual date completed September 30th. I had booked a painter based on the original finish date provided. Painter could not start as the project was nowhere near completed. I had to pay the painter even though he couldn't start. CRK were aware I was working to a deadline to have the property ready but he told the painter "it will be done when its done" which in reality meant 45 days after original agreed finish date. He also used our under counter fridge and freezer as a workbench. The quality of the work (SINK LEAKED) and the finish was nothing short of a disgrace. Complained and he did come back, to "fix" things that should have never been left in such a state in the first place. Avoid at all costs absolutely no pride in his work, and gets quite indignant when his shortcomings as a "tradesman" are pointed out, Took no responsibility.
