Been working with wood for nearly 12 years. Started with full house conversions, from stripping down to it's skeleton, to second fix. Working through every stage with accurate and efficient mentality. I was working closely with a skilled carpenter who taught me many skills that i still use today! Not only in woodwork, but with all the multiple trades needed in a full house renovation.. After a few years and many projects after, i moved away to Bala to settle down, where i joined a large firm to do Joinery as part of a team in a workshop. Here i learned many more skills including managing projects, working as a team, and the in's and out's of windows, staircases, doors, wall panels, and floor cassettes. Some other skills learnt here were, CAD drawings, workshop machinery, stock intake, driving a forklift and many more. Since then i have turned full time self-employed. Thank you for looking at my profile. I’m a qualified joiner/ carpenter with all building work experience as I served my apprenticeship with a builder back in 1998. After my apprenticeship I worked on various large construction sites learning even more as I worked with different tradesmen picking up a wide verity of different skills. I’ve done extensions and large renovations but now in my 40s I tend to do smaller jobs from kitchen and bathroom renovations to smaller jobs including flat roof coverings . My wife Lisa is now a part of my business and she is learning the trades very well.
