Dyfrig worked with us to design what we wanted, and also suggested better options to give us more space in the wardrobes. Dyfrig began work as discussed in a timely manner, and completed everything to a high standard. Dyfrig was extremely professional and courteous, even though he was very busy with other work commitments at the same time. I would definitely recommend Dyfrig to others, and have already recommended him to my neighbours.Latest review:

Rating: 4.4 out of 5 4.459 reviewsGet in touchAfter getting a quote and feeling that James (Kelvin) knew exactly what he was doing, I was pleased I was going to get a bad job done well. After starting 2 months after the date quoted and paying a large amount of money for materials, which weren't delivered as quoted, Kelvin eventually started work (end of October), knocking down existing roofing, and leaving it without any cover for me to move between my house and bathroom, we then had the heavy rain, which he did say was on its way, causing water to get into my house and the bathroom. When he did start, being at work I couldn't see exactly what was going on. These are the problems we are now having after asking Kelvin to leave the job. After moving back door out a little, and external drain now being exposed on the inside of the house, it covered as an eco drain. After placing the cover (which we now know doesn't fit) over the drain, it was concreted up, which is against building regs, leaving any debris in the drain, so after having rain again this has flooded causing water to spread under existing flooring. Bad electrical work - with no name of electrician or cert as requested Life wires being left exposed Bad plastering - which Kelvin admitted he was no good at Roof leaking - no name of roofing company to get back to Floor tiles which he laid v v very badly - loose and able to take up without use of any tooling and not breaking any. Rating: 5 out of 5 552 reviewsGet in touchDafydd and his team have fitted a new welsh slate roof on part of our farmhouse, built a rear retaining wall, fitted surface water drainage to the rear of the building and rendered one of the two gable end walls in lime mortar. The jobs have been carried out to a very good standard and the workmen have been excellent in both carrying out the work and looking after the property whilst working there. They still have one gable wall to complete but due to weather conditions and the use of lime mortar this will be down when the weather improves. Whenever I have discussed any part of the work they have been quick to react positively. Overall really satisfied with the work and will be hiring them to fit new concrete floors inside the house and Dafydd has already organised a visit from a heating engineer to give a quote on central heating. One final point, the financial cost of the work completed has come in just as the initial quote stated which was very welcoming given scare stories you hear of every increasing bills. No such problem on this job and overall very pleased with Dafydd Lloyd's work. Get in touchPaul has been extremely helfpul in the renovation of our first home. He has re-built our kitchen, fitted doors, windows and renovated upstairs (from a bungalow). He was able to advise us on what would work best as we had no clue where to start. He always showed up when he said he would, is very clean and tidy and cleary takes pride in his work. We have no complaints and with years experience he has also been able to recommend other tradespeople to us. We highly recommend him and have already recommended him to others.
