The work was finished to a good standard and any which led us to hire him for a full house renovation work including a new kitchen and two additional bathrooms.

Mark filled me with confidence from the first time I spoke to him on the phone. This continued with his quote which was reasonable and throughout the job. I could not get to Birmingham whilst he was doing the job or since replacing a shower tray, cubicle and the tiling. He gave me regular feedback, completed the job swiftly and sent me pictures afterwards. I also had an old washing machine break down whilst he was replacing the shower cubicle. He was able to source a replacement and install it for me at a reasonable price saving me the hassle of going to Birmingham to sort this out. He liased very effectively with the tenants to get access whilst doing the job. I would thoroughly recommend him.

We asked various tradespeople to quote to refurbish our small bathroom. We researched the average cost thereof and could expect anything from £1500 to £7500. Reasonably, we expected something in the middle of this. J&E were awarded the job. They responded quickly and their costs were incredibly reasonable in comparison to other quotations received, with one particular quotation being over £6200 (way too high in our opinion). Update 20/04/2025: A almost a year after the job was completed and some feedback. New bathroom fan packed up within a month. They would fit a replacement but not purchase it. Fan was incredibly weak for the steam generated in the small space so condesation is high. Ceiling paint is all peeling off despite having had asked for proper paint. In hindsight, I have zero access to the completely enclosed toilet behind tiles, so if there's even a small problem, I have to remove tiles. As professionals I would have expected practicality in their design.

Nuno is an amazing tradesman extremely hard working & he pays a great deal of attention to detail. We had the outside of our house completely prepared (from a very poor state) & painted along with the repair of a bespoke fence. It’s predominantly a wooden house (1790) with the lower part in stone the job he did was immaculate. Nuno provided constant updates to us which was especially welcome during a three week period in the middle of the redecoration when we were away. Pricing is very fair he goes through every element of the work to be done & the cost. Nuno & his team are completely trustworthy (we left him with a key) & he always made sure the house & outside where left clean at the end of each day. My wife & I cannot praise him enough & I’m sure anyone employing him will not be disappointed. He comes highly recommended from us you really can’t go wrong with him.
