Was looking for a quote for shower installation and jb plumbing got back to us very quickly. He gave us a very resonable quote so we agreed to go ahead, they turned up when they said, very professionally, friendly and efficient would highly recommend this local business. After they completed they shower installation we then asked if they could remove a cuboard in the kitchen so we could put the dryer in and they fitted us in to their busy schedule and done a great job again. Thankyou very much guys, we'll use yous again 😊

Stefan - why do you not reply to my texts and phone calls. Feels like you’re ignoring me and rude. Nearly a year since we talked about arranging to finish off (legitimate reasons to have stopped) and dates to be advised. It’s been brilliant all around up to then but the silence is deafening. I’ve chased for the electrical test certificates and building control certificate and nothing.

Gary did a very good job on our bathroom installation. We had a separate toilet and bathroom knocked into one room. His work was coordinated well, he and his team arrived on time and the site was cleared away at the end of each day. Work done to a very high standard, polite and suggested alternatives to us, knowing what would work best in the given space. I would recommend him highly.

I spoke with Callum about the job, and he came out to look at it and tried to fix it. Here's what happened: Issue 1: Callum then charged me a £90 callout fee for coming to check and apply a small fix, which he didn't inform me about beforehand. Issue 2: He said it was because it was a Sunday - his decision to come then - and mentioned that he had to drive an hour each way, which seems inappropriate given the distance from where I live. He identified the smell as likely due to a faulty pan connector and an air admittance valve. Fair. He spent 45 minutes on it, and while it didn't solve the issue, it was a reasonable attempt. The cost was £240, with a good portion covering materials. Issue 3: After I got a message about the invoice, Callum called me within 48 hours in a tone I found rude. I don't mind paying, it was just how he spoke. While the issue wasn't resolved, that's not on him. However, given the communication and unexpected charges, I won't be using Callum's services again.

Peter and his son JJ met all my expectations. Polite prompt and delivered my pergola with additions to my satisfaction. EDIT Storm Darràgh happened in Dec 3 months after my install. I of course contacted JMC to advise that my tiles have been blown off, as when were discussing costs and job allocation I was assured that any issues will be dealt with promptly. The blown off tiles STILL had the adhesive strips attached which meant that some of the tiles were not stuck as the manufacturer instructed. Photos were sent. Here's JMC's contractors response...... Evening, The wind ripped your shingles from your roof like a lot of property’s … The roof was installed on spec nailed on as per specifications. We will not be repairing this under any kind of warranty And your attitude toward me regarding this not being fitted properly is upsetting and I think you should find another company to do this for you. They have not attended. I 100% do NOT recommended them for their lack of aftercare.

We hired Daniel to retile our bathroom and fit a new bathtub. Ultimately we had to get someone else in to start the job again as a number of tiles were falling off the wall (one had smashed the new bath too). It turns out that the walls were not at all prepped....some of the tiles had been stuck on with the equivalent of 'no more nails'. The rest had been back buttered with a very thin layer of adhesive on the back middle of the tile and silicone in places. The tiles were unsafe as they were not bonded to the wall so would have fallen off in time. The tile cuts were not straight on some walls, the spaces between tiles were not level and ultimately the tiles did not line up in a number of places. Furthermore, I purchased 20 boxes of tiles, the idea was the downstairs toilet could be done at a later date ...all 20 boxes were used. The bathroom has now been re-done, I purchased new boxes of tiles as the majority of the old ones couldn't be used again and only 8 boxes have been used so it's really concerning that an extra 12 boxes have gone missing....I can see on the CCTV a stack were put into Daniels van so either 12 boxes have been wasted and damaged or they have just been taken. Overall, it was a massive waste of time and money but, My Builder were really helpful when we had to raise our concerns to them.
