Victor contacted me within an hour of me posting the ad. Gave a very competitive price for the job on the phone. He arrived the next day. We discussed what i required and he promptly got the tape measure out! Victor completed the job and tested the appliance for me. Victor was Polite, Professional and a very clean worker. I hired MH Electrical for an EICR certificate for a tiny 1 bedroom bungalow after another electrician pulled out last minute. Mark agreed to do the job on the condition to do necessary fixes on the same day. He initially quoted £160, then raised it to £800 + VAT the day before, claiming the consumer unit needed replacing. On the job day, he raised it again to £1,140, saying the hob switch needed moving. I had tenants moving in and was desperate, so I had no choice but to agree. Despite promising to finish in one day, Mark left at 3PM. The next day he returned 1.5 hours late, costing me two days of lost work. His price was excessive, as I previously had consumer units of a large 3-bed house replaced, loft wiring and EICR all done for £700+VAT. It felt like he took advantage of my urgency. At end, he completed but left one of lights without a bulb cover, he didn’t bring cleaning tools. I wouldn’t use Mark again.
