My company, par-avion co., is a woman-owned joinery, furniture and design workshop based in Norfolk, UK. I founded it in 2013 after working for several years as an architect and lighting designer for museums and high profile residences. I got burnout after working 60 hour weeks with no breaks and decided to retrain as a joiner and woodworker. I am now the custodian and principal maker of a line of scandi-inspired award-winning furniture designs and have a fully equipped woodworking workshop in Norwich. My specialties are in architecture and lighting design, woodworking, joinery, seat weaving, woodturning, basketry and general household improvements. I can make custom built beds, install doors, turn a new door handle, refit kitchen cabinets, hang shelves and more. Want a bed frame for your children’s room but don’t have the budget? Monica works with affordable and often recycled timber to create made-to-order solutions at affordable prices. I charge a day rate or half-day rate, plus materials. Have a bespoke query?
