DO NOT HIRE! He didn’t arrive on the first day and when he did show up really only seemed to make progress while his “mate” joined him and spent a lot of time on his phone. He’s left me with glass with smears all over, putty a toddler could have applied better, rips in the exterior paint where he tried to tidy some of his over painting, paint on the tiles below, and a huge mess in my drive way. I had a single side window as well as a bay, which he stripped the bottom off and then decided his ladder wasn’t long enough so has now left me with exposed wood. I have had to pay extra for scaffolding, which has been up months, and have now bought myself a ladder to finish the job myself, which is what I was trying to avoid as a busy single mother of three. I’ve given him months of opportunity to come back and fix, but he’s fobbed me off and is now ignoring me entirely. Only hire Edward Joyce if you want to be left with a huge mess and sub-standard work.
