Get in touchJob left unfinished, and worse, leaking worse than before a 3 tiered felt roof was fitted on at least the back side and right hand sides of my outbuilding. Only on final work date did he demand £84 for extra felt. Despite numerous messages, emails, consumer letters, and photographic evidence of the leaks, sent both by emails, and My Builder site, the only response I saw (not to my email account as I'd requested), dated the 31/10/24, stated that he would return to assess the leaks, works that weekend, never did, nor has he been in contact since then. Instead I had to take steps to find out why I hadn't receive any responses from him via My Builder, Consumer Advice, and finally Companies house to find out that he had changed his address, and all contact details without informing me. I forwarded emails to his new email address. Again met with no responses, meanwhile I am left out of pocket and with a badly leaking shed. His business and works practices leave a lot to be desired.

Get in touchThe job started out ok, but then became more work as it went on which we understand can happen. One issue we had was we were told one of our chimney pots was cracked and needed replaced. We were offered a shorter pot which was in the back of his van, but we specifically asked for a new chimney pot that was the same as the others for continuity. What we came home to, couldn't have been further from similar! A red pot about half the height of our other pots. When we complained, Jack said he could come back and replace it but it would cost us a further £150 (to fix his mistake) which didn't sit well with us. I believe he used the pot from the back of his van and hoped we wouldn't notice. We phoned the supplier he allegedly used and they told us they had the correct pot in stock. Sheer laziness in our opinion. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Very pushy and if you complain, it's your fault. Avoid the hassle if you can.
