Luke came in and did a number of jobs, including replacing our roof and doing some re-pointing. All of it was done to an exceptionally high standard, for a fair price and we are really delighted with the end result. Luke and his team are great to work with and kept us updated at all times. Jordan was really knowledgable and took the time to assess the work without trying to get us to pay for extra things we might not need. “This is most likely to be the issue, start by fixing that and then only do other things if you need to”. He did the work to a high standard and came back to finish the mortar around the chimney when more of the old mortar than he’d expected came off initially- he even filled in some cracks around the chimney pots with the mortar he had left over which was really appreciated. He was also able to fit us in at the weekend meaning we didn’t have to wait long. The only improvement point would be around organisation and planning. On two occasions we were expecting him and he didn’t come (one was due to being called out to an emergency roof repair and the other due to forgetting)- he apologised profusely on both occasions but it would be worth using a calendar and reminders to avoid this in future. I have recently moved up from London and never had to advertise before, all of my work was through word of mouth. I can do all sorts of roofing work, brick laying, carpentry, lofts, extensions etc. I am a very hard worker and just need to get established now I have moved.
Rob's communication was very good and showed us photo's of the roof when he'd been up to inspect. It turned out to be a smaller job than we thought which Rob completed on the day and showed us photo's of it completed. Happy with the price and excellent work. I hired Will to repair a leaking flat roof and replace with a slightly angled EPDM rubber roof. Will did a fantastic job of ensuring that the work was carried out quickly (required due to weather / leakage concerns), professionally, and with a high level of quality. I always like to leave a negative point when posting feedback (however small), however on this occasion I simply cannot think of a single negative. Richard is an extremely professional tradesman and expert in his trade. I had a tricky issue with my main gate and one of posts had to be replaced. He was courteous and prompt from the very start. Contacted me within a few hours of job posting, was able to identify the scope of the job from our discussion and the photos I shared, gave me a reasonable quote and a date when he could do the job. Excellent communication throughout. He showed up on time, finished the job within a day and also fixed my entrance slabs without charging extra. Really happy with the overall experience.
