I very rarely use the following word for tradesmen, but unfortunately this guy is a grade A cowboy. I mistakenly gave Chris a price from another roofer, which he of course under cut. Roll onto the job. It was a total strip down and repair of a large front vertical section of flat Brazilian grey green tile. Repairs to the lounge, gable ends, side verticals and other minor repairs. Chris took over 2 weeks to make a mess of the work he done. Gave up 40% through, leaving another trusted roofer to resolve and fix his mess. Asked for payment after 1 week too! Left his rubbish here and consistently chasing for money that’s nowhere near to what he’s done. All other roofers attended afterwards have agreed nothing should have been paid. Replacement roofer has to now fix: Damaged tiles, Poorly installed vent tile Clean off render and brick (cement stains) Fix the vertical slates he gave up on Install the correct slates on the line (he installed Spanish!) AVOID!!

A very reassuring and understanding man, he certainly has explained everything well and what the cause of droplets were. Which I found was a tiny hole where a cable goes through the felt , and with all this very cold weather it was causing condensation, but also no loft insulation. Which will be the next step in the next few weeks, but I thought the worst of all situations and thankfully it has been dealt with. Overall response was quick and easy, honest kind of guy and I am 100/% pleased totally.
