the toilet downstairs is loose and when I spoke to Lewis he said that I would have to pay more to fix it , if you spend more than £100 to get your toilet fixed downstairs and it is ill fitted, I feel as though he should have foreseen these issues. The best thing which was done was the flooring upstairs which was not done by him!

I have really enjoyed working with Lewis and his team. Apart from the fact that he is a thoroughly nice bloke he did everything in his power to deliver a great finish to a difficult extension project. He never once quibbled with me when changes were being made and helped me throughout in a very professional and flexible way. I would be happy to provide references and would recommend.

Lewis has an excellent knowledge of his trade. He is punctual, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. His project management skills are exemplary as is his honesty. Something of a rarity in this industry! I can recommend Lewis whole heartedly however large or small the job.

Lewis was very professional and easy to work with - he was very good at adapting to changing requirements and dealing with building control etc, which was very reassuring! The work was finished to a very high standard at a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend Lewis to anyone - I will be using him again.

Lewis completed a ground floor extension, garden office and complete refurb of the whole house. During the scoping and negotiation of the project Lewis was very patient and re-worked various parts of the quote to suit my requirements. When he started, the project moved very quickly and always kept me informed about what was going on and requested my feedback before executing key stages. I had a number of issues with building control as they required some changes to the plans that I submitted. Lewis liaised with building control and ensured everything was done to their satisfaction whilst also keeping me informed. He was very professional and did a fantastic job with this. Lewis really knows his stuff and always provided good quality advice in all aspects of the build / project. From the beginning I told Lewis I want a show home quality finish and this is exactly what I got. The quality of his work and his team is excellent. Even though the project overran it was still delivered in an impressive timeframe given the scale of the work. Overall Lewis has done a great job and I would highly recommend him.

Lewis has done a lovely job on our bathroom, I couldn’t have asked for better. I wish I could show you the before and after pictures on here as the difference is amazing. He always cleaned up before he left and was a pleasure to have in the house. Price was in our Budget (asked for a few quotes on here and Lewis was the best) I would be very happy to recommend him to anyone needing any work doing and have already passed his number onto a friend that has commented on his work. I will also be calling him back as and when we are ready to do more work on the house. 100% thumbs up. Thank you Lewis Nichola & Paul - Ongar

Excellent tradesman. I am loath to recommend Lewis and Urbanworks as they'll then be even busier and won't be able to continue all the work I need doing! Lewis was polite, punctual (or called ahead to warn of delays), patient (there was quite a change of scope for this work at our end), and did an A1 job. The carpet was actually cleaner after the work had been done than before. The quotes prepared were accurate, detailed (unlike others we received), and were stuck to. I won't be hesitating to use Urbanworks again.

Lewis is a very personable professional. He installed a new walk in shower for us that also included a lot of tiling and painting. There were no hidden charges and what we paid was what was quoted. The standard of the work is outstanding and I am very pleased with the finished bathroom. I highly recommend Urban Works, you wont’ be disappointed.

Lewis was quick to come round and give us a quote, which was very reasonable, detailed and comprehensive. Through the work, there were a few alterations to the original quote that we decided on, he was happy to give us an updated quote before doing the work. There were a couple of extra charges for further materials than the original quote, but these were communicated to us during the build and were the result of structural issues that could not have been foreseen. The quality of the work was excellent, and Lewis was happy to come back a few days after finishing to sort out a couple of small patches we were not 100% happy with and to replace the new extractor fan which had developed a manufacturing fault. The flat was left very clean and tidy each night when he left, which made the upheaval much more bearable. He was friendly and polite throughout, and happy to give me a call when he had finished each evening to update me with the progress made during the day and to run any decisions past me that needed making. A true professional and pleasure to work with.
