    Removal of units
Lewis was very personable and professional He turned up on time and stayed for an extra hour to finish off items that we had not expected needed to be done, and offered this at no extra cost! :) Although his work was so good I made sure I gave him a tip The job was a simple removal of kitchen units and moving the fridge, but he painted and decorated, did some electrical work too, all in. I plan to hire him again and would recommend him to others

General overhaul other than decorating. Items provided.

Lewis is 100% trustworthy. There is no gamble. He has the willingness, expertise, work ethic and contacts to deliver all that I asked and in the deadlines we agreed. Friendly and not in the slightest bit intimidating he can also be contacted at his wife’s boutique in Ongar. We have used him on my eldest two children’s first buys, complete renovations, my parents and our own small half day jobs and emergencies. We will be using him to renovate our third child’s property when we find one somewhere in East London. Lewis will be always be my first call in the foreseeable future and, having found him, a second call has never been needed. (Although I did get a few extra quotes to confirm that he is also great value for money.) I seldom write a reference but do so as a return for his care to give great service. Believe me this guy should be grabbed and never let go. My colleague had a builder who turned out to be a cowboy and Lewis went in and made all good in the most effective and economical manner.

Relocate a kitchen to the rear reception room of a Victorian premises. To completely remove the rear load bearing wall, install steels to form a large, open plan kitchen dining area. New roof with Velux's, reclaimed floor, electrics and heating. Luxury kitchen with island and integrated appliances.

Lewis completely removed the rear load bearing wall in our house, installed steels to form a large, open plan kitchen dining area. Put on a new roof with Velux's, reclaimed floor, electrics and heating. Installed a luxury kitchen with island and integrated appliances. Lewis' work is beautiful. The finish of the job is impeccable. Lewis worked very hard throughout the job and his prices are very competitive. I would happily recommend Lewis and have already to my friends.

    Bathroom Leak and refitting
I can 100% vouch for the positive comments for Lewis. I had no time to visit the flat during the job so gave him keys & hoped for the best. A huge risk but it paid off!! Lewis is a detailed perfectionist, excellently skilled, completely trustworthy, honest & is so generous with his time, knowledge, solutions & opinion. Lewis can resolve unexpected issues e.g. rewiring because he is a qualified all rounder. He even negotiated with his contacts to get me products at a cheaper rate than I had seen them elsewhere. He saved me around £500. I felt comfortable knowing he was going to be doing the job & not sending some random to do the actual work. Silicone, tiling (unbelievably neat), wall & base units are ALL done to perfection. ALL attachments are sturdy, straight & in working order. My bathroom is now in line with the luxury modern hotels I have stayed in (to me that is 5 star & around £300 per night). My recent visitors have agreed that it is categorically the best domestic bathroom we have seen to date. He updated me every single day & asked for my approval first if there were ever options. ALWAYS professional, polite & finished half a day earlier than agreed. Provided receipts, warranty’s, guarantees for everything at the end of the job & tidied up after himself. I don’t have a bad word to say about him at all. He is my first choice for any future bathroom renovations & I wish him the best. P.S. There’s not enough space in these review boxes for me to explain how good he is!

    Refurb of bathroom
Lewis was reliable, honest and completely trustworthy. His work is to a high standard, and he turned what was a complete mess of a bathroom into a calm, smart space. Lewis worked incredibly hard, including working over the Easter weekend in order to get the job finished. The work was done with minimal disruption. While he was here one of my friends hired him to do work for her as she was so impressed. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again

    Kitchen installation

Lewis is a friendly, trustworthy and above all proficient builder. He provided a detailed, value-for-money quote for our kitchen refurbishment and while there were a couple of additional costs, he informed us of these before initiating the work. Lewis talked us through each stage of the process and was always happy to offer advice on other potential DIY jobs around the flat. The job was of a good quality and we're really happy with our new kitchen. We would recommend Lewis's services and would certainly call on him again for future work.

    Bathroom: shower removal and replacement.

Lewis has just completed a job on our large bathroom, removing an existing stand-alone shower, woodchip wallpaper, carpet flooring and wall tiles and installing a new shower, replastering the walls, and adding floor and wall tiles. The plastering (which was subcontracted), new fittings and tiling are finished to a high standard and the job took exactly two weeks, as was predicted. The final bill was also as estimated. Lewis is a very nice guy who works hard and is constantly cheerful, helpful and very easy to communicate with. It’s obvious that client satisfaction is important to him and we were particularly grateful that he offered to do a few extra bits after the major work was completed (e.g. putting up a shelf), by way of rounding the job off. I’d recommend him without hestitation.

    BATHROOM

I am very happy with the work Lewis has done in my bathroom and kitchen. he was professional at all times and I felt very comfortable having him in my house. Reliable and trustworthy. He explained all aspects of the work and there were no unexpected surprises. He is a hard worker and worked throughout the day without any long breaks. I will definitely hire him again and will recommend him to any of my friends. I now finally have a bathroom and kitchen to be proud of! Thank you.
