Had several people to assess the problem and quote for the work. Richard was the only one that seemed to have a clear understanding of what the problem and solution was plus be able to do it for a reasonable price. He was over half the price of one of the quotes I received to do exactly the same job. Richard turned up when he said he would and did a very good job. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Didn’t manage to save the old guttering as quoted, resulting an additional and unexpected bill for replacement that exceeded others’ quotes. This was unfortunate, but I believe it to be legitimate and unavoidable. Overall good job completed within a week of hiring, good standard of workmanship and excellent communications throughout.

Rich was flexible with timings when coming to give the initial quote. Rich clearly identified the problem with our roof and offered a very reasonable price compared with the other quote we had for the same work. Communication was good meaning we knew what was happening when. The job was done over 4 days, once the scaffolding was up. This seemed very efficient as the job was renewing the roofing felt for the whole roof, including replacing the battons and taking off and then replacing all the tiles. Rich also identified cracked cement to the chimney which he repointed with our consent. I would definitely use Rich again and recommend to friends and family.

Rich gave a very competitive quote, started the job when he said he would and kept me informed throughout (we picked the wettest, most windiest week of November!). Roof and guttering went up quickly and looks good - not tested against any rain or wind since but have the 10 year guarantee if the unlikely were to happen. Scaffolding and skip removed within 2 days of completion which I did not expect so quickly. Thanks Rich

Excellent job by RJP roofing. Prompt extremely competitive quote. Excellent communication regarding start time. Arrived promptly, were self sufficient most days as we were at work but kept us up to date with emails. Job completed promptly, unexpected additional work explained and completed at reasonable extra cost. Skip and scaffolding removed within 2 days of completion. Roof now looks brilliant, nice to know we are water tight at last! Thanks Rich.
