Empire UPVC & Roofing Specialists LTD reviews (491)

Empire replaced my old gutters, soffits & facias with upvc ones and also installed light pipes to bring natural light into the first floor of my terraced house. Empire were friendly, professional, helpful, quick, clean & tidy. They did a great job. I’d definitely use them again and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Chris of Empire Roofing did a great job. He was knowledgable, friendly and completed the work to a high standard. I will definitely use him again should I need any roofing job. Thanks Chris!

We have a flat roof over our three story commercial property which had ponding and was causing leakages and damp in the lower floors. Chris came and did the initial inspection with a 4k Drone as well as physically looking the roof. Which I found great as I had done my own inspection with my own drone before posting the ad. His estimate for the job was fully explained and laid out so we knew what we were getting for the cost. It was also half the price of other quotes from other contractors that were filled with bloated price hikes and excessive equipment. Chris was always on the phone to answer any questions I had, even when he was on holiday. The fitting team came in on time everyday with zero hassle to myself and my tenants and were completely professional and gave daily photo updates on the work via whatsapp. Overall I would say Empire have a good professional service and would recommend them from small to large scale properties.

The four flat roofs in the building had to be redone. Chris and his team were super friendly and professional. They accepted to work longer hours to get the job done quicker to accommodate my professional constraints. The roofs are now brand new and labour and materials have come with a twenty year guarantee. They had to go through my flat to access the roofs and but left everything clean and tidy. On the accidental occasion they left some marks on the carpet, they cleaned everything up the next day first thing before resuming work (which is not something I have experience with previous roofers/builders!). A really good experience overall and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer.

Amazing job. Great work ethic. Polite and polished workmen. Absolute delight to have them do the work. Great finish and quality. Always back to do any small niggles later. Thanks Chris and team.

Going into the job completely blind and not understanding what we were up against was a little daunting but Chris reassured us and explained the whole process clearly and throughly. The cost was fair and the outcome was just what we were looking for. Sadly some of the fascia detailing collapsed on his team (shows how poor the roof was!) but the guys managed to fix this and still make the end result attractive. Having the extra guarantee on top of the work they did is reassurance that the job will last a long time. Thank you Chris, you've been great to deal with and having such a pleasant manner makes our life easier!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The team of roofers were a credit to the company great job done and would highly recommend.

Chris was the first to respond on mybuilder.com. He was the first to arrive to quote and his quote was with me within two hours. My entire experience from start to end was positive. Empire are a professional, well run company which completed my job within 10 days to a very high standard. They left no mess. Billing was efficient and everything was in order. I definitely would recommend them going forward.

Chris was an absolute star, super professional and provided an excellent service. Without a doubt I will be using Empire again.

After making initial contact with Chris of Empire everything went like clockwork. He came round to assess what the job entailed and I had a verbal quote a couple of hours later. The written quote followed shortly after that and the price was very reasonable considering the scope of work that was required. The roofing team arrived bang on time at the appointed hour the following week and the two guys worked non-stop (save for a couple of quick tea breaks) until the job was completed. The roofers were polite, highly efficient and kept me informed when they had to improvise a bit or deviate from the scope of the original quote. In short Empire UPVC & Roofing impressed me greatly re the speed and efficiency of their service and the 15 year warranty gives great peace of mind for the future. Top marks.
