Excellent service. Highly professional from start to finish. The director, Chris has great energy and enthusiasm for customer care. From the initial conversation to completion of the job was exactly a week. The price was competitive and a welcome letter was sent with the quote the same say as the site visit. None of the other roofers bothered to follow up in writing which made my decision to choose Empire easier as I have had far too many bad experiences with tradesmen in the past. After the first day Chris notified me of a potential problem as the soil pipe was not boxed in and could result in water entering the garage. He called to discuss the issue and agreed to resolve the issue at no extra cost which was a welcome surprise. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them should I have any issues with my main roof or gutters in the future.

I was impressed with the prompt timing and good communication. The team that turned up to do the work were very courteous and worked well. Happy with the quality of the work undertaken and would recommend.

Excellent service: company phoned me within an hour of us accepting their request to do the job. Chris then called round the following morning to look at the job and we received a quote very soon afterwards. The job was scheduled for, and completed the next day. Good communication throughout the job, and very clear on pricing. Got the job done pretty promptly, and the work was completed very quickly with limited fuss - neat and tidy job. The roof repair has so far survived a couple of heavy downpours, so looks like a job well done - would use again and recommend.

We had two new flat roofs fitted by Chris and his team. Although their quote was the most expensive, we decided to go with them because we wanted to be assured of a professional job. In addition, they were the only ones who were proposing to include all the requisite levels of a ‘warm roof’ (sub-deck, vapour control, insulation, deck and covering), which is what we wanted. Chris also itemised every step of the job clearly so we knew exactly what was going to be done. The two young guys from Chris’s team who did the work were very hard working and polite and finished the job in good time (about 4 days). They kept us informed about progress and cleared up carefully at the end of each day. Overall, they did a great job on the roofs and the new fascia boards and guttering look really good too. The only issue we had was immediately after the initial job was finished, there was some water leaking in from the dormer on the adjacent pitched roof. Chris responded quickly and had someone come round and resolve the issue (a cracked tile) the next day. So, now everything is fine - and we’ve had some severely heavy rain recently to test it. The work is guaranteed and I am confident that Chris will maintain the support and care should we ever need it. Excellent customer service and a very professional job. I would have no hesitation in recommending Empire if you need a good quality flat roof installed.

Chris and his team remained professional and patient whilst dealing with our works, as due to discovery of a high level of asbestos the project plan had to be adjusted several times prior to the works being agreed with six different landlords before going ahead. We were pleased to have had the works completed last week ahead of the autumn. I would highly recommend Chris and his team.
