I decided to select five possible candidates as I had the time to do so. I selected three independents and two bigger companies. Ian was the wild card of the five, as he had the lowest feedback but I liked how he had written his resume as it inspired trust. So i thought lets give it a go.
Ian turned up with his colleague Chris. It was a good first impression as they both took off their shoes and were polite. I let them get on with it and was surprised to hear banging upstairs. Omg. I went upstairs and Ian explained what he was doing. I was intrigued and continued to observe him and Chris and he was meticulous in yaking measurements and working out the angles of the bay windows. All 5 of those who gave me an estimate were professional but after the visit Ian was moving into pole position. The quotations came through and were quite a broad range. Ian was competitive but he had also inspired confidence. Ian and Chris arrived on the agreed date and carried out the work over two days. I will not lie, i ws nervous, too many bad experiences. It was excellent in every way and they cleaned up as they went. An excellent job and I wpuld recommend with confidence.
