I cannot recommend Tom and his team highly enough. We needed a dormer loft shell constructed to include 1 bedroom and en suite. They started 19th November and it was completed by January 9th. Through incredibly challenging weather, freezing temperatures and very high winds. The chaps started before 9am every day, and included occasional weekend hours. The quality of the work is superb. Tom talked through options and variations as to how we could best achieve what we were aiming to create from the outset. We felt at ease and confident in his judgement and opinions. Payments were made in installments at relevant intervals of job completion which was quick and straightforward. There is absolutely nothing I would change about the service we received or the manner in which our job was managed. Anyone wishing to have a reliable team of builders, Tom and his team I cannot recommend enough. John was such a remarkable person to work with on my chimney removal, what started out as just one floor removal ended up being the entire thing due to his really reasonable quote. He was exceptionally kind, courteous and considerate throughout. He obliged our need to get the chimney removal approved by building regulation, amended materials on their request and the final result is better than I could have dreamed. We also asked him to do other jobs like fixing an issue with the roof and repairing the floor where needed. If I ever have any other jobs that he could do in the future for myself or friends and family, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him. We wanted a warm roof conservatory/garden room to use all year round we had 3 quotes but Liam came across a very likeable person and his price was very competitive. And am so glad we did. Plane View Building were quick, thorough, and exceptional at dealing with our roof leak and bathroom renovation. We had suffered a roof leak that was difficult to locate it meant removing the ceiling of the bathroom to locate it. Subsequently, after discussing options, we re-roofed the entire area with reclaimed slates. They helped us find the best roofer for the project that could offer best value for money. They added insulation to the edge of the ceiling at our request to remove the condensation issue the ceiling had at the external wall, where the roof is thinnest. A problem in many Victorian homes. The ceiling was then reinstated and the entire room skimmed and plastered. They tiled the room according to our design and fitted a bath panel and vinyl floor. Simon and his company were trustworthy, good value for money and did a thorough and excellent job.
