I hired Charlie because he was friendly, personable and his quote was the most professional; itemised & specified care taken to prep surfaces and protect surrounding areas. Unfortunately, this was not the experience I had. It took a long time to complete as Charlie would show up for short periods leaving lots of work that could have been done while weather was good, unfinished. The final finish was sloppy, with many areas completely untouched, edges between colours blurred, and patchy coverage of main areas. I had to ask for areas to be painted properly, even confirming in writing outstanding work to be met with ‘you never told me about that’ comments despite being discussed & specified in quotation. I had to ask for care to be taken as prep debris was not cleared up and stains and splatters were everywhere all over brand new welcome mats & freshly washed decking. In the end I gave up, paid up and spent a day competing the painting & cleaning stains myself. Disappointed.

After a meeting with Josh Hughes to discuss the installation of the new kitchen, we were so impressed with his knowledge and his work ethic this led to him carrying out a complete refurbishment of the house. This included the new kitchen, new bathroom, fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms and some structural work to a structural engineer's report. All his work was completed very efficiently to a very high standard and within the time scale required. We have no hesitation in recommending him and using him again.

Darren was so professional and reliable. I was so pleased with how he massively improved my kitchen after another tradesperson bodged it. He then built a unit for storage under my stairs exactly how I imagined it. He was so helpful and even put up shelves and did other little jobs around the house for me. I can't recommend him enough.

Mr Cashman was a very polite likeable tradesman what should have been easy wasn’t. The cupboards weren’t level meaning the corners couldn’t be fitted correctly, Mr Cashman pointed this out then left me with no kitchen, with a disabled son for me to rectify, if Mr. Cashman had put his level across before starting this could have been avoided, hopefully lesson learnt. He then mis measures a piece of worktop making it unusable. I completed the kitchen worktop to enable the kitchen to be used. To Mr. Cashmans credit he ordered a replacement length of worktop came and fixed it. Bottom line would I use Mr. Cashman again YES is the answer, I’m sure given level units everything would have been done on the day. Life is about learning from mistakes made, I’m sure Mr. Cashman has learned…

Kris was brilliant throughout the project. Communication was good, gave us professional opinions and guidance throughout and daily. Work completed to a very high standard, the bathroom is beautiful. He gave great attention to detail, and kept us within budget. Not an easy job as a 100 year old building with lots of wonky walls (some even falling down during the project) - but the end result is fantastic. Finished to a high standard. Cannot recommend Cherry Group App ltd enough. Will use for future projects. Thank you so much!
