He built us a new patio. We have a gazebo and he agreed to move it and put it back on the new patio. At the end of the job he left without moving it back. He asked for full payment then, and said he’d never agreed to move the gazebo and it wasn’t part of the job. It turned quite unpleasant so I paid someone else to do it. He also left quite a lot of dust on the drive and on the patio furniture.

Job done very efficiently, cleanly and at a very reasonable price. Turned up promptly on date agreed. Very pleasant and respectful workers. Overall an excellent job. Unfortunately since the initial work was completed some of the paving has come loose and in other parts materials used have crumbled. Despite trying to contact the tradesperson on six separate and spaced out occasions vis my builder, telephone and direct messaging Shane’s has ignored my request to contact me to make good the work he undertook. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

From start to finish, Mickey has been the most politely enthusiastic Bricky I've ever met. Always punctual and very communicative, he did what he said, when he said he'd do it. From a quick quote, to start date and completion of the job that ended up a little bigger than initially anticipated. However, Mickey took it in his stride and carried on with a smile. Even though site access was difficult with limited space, he moved seven tonnes of sand etc and 360 blocks in place with minimal disruption. Including digging foundations, Mickey moved around ten tonnes of material by hand, in 30+c temperatures without complaint. While the job took a little longer than expected, Mickey stuck to his labour charge quote. The finished job is exactly what I wanted and looks good. I'll happily employ Mickey in future and recommend him to others. As such, he was paid more than he asked for, which seemed fair (and very unusual) to me. Thanks, Mickey, your efforts have been appreciated.
