Due to always having to pay in advance, I had Chris and Kyle at my house for 2 months. Their quality of work is poor. I found them lazy and disrespectful of my property and of me. Their belief in their ability to do a good job in all aspects of construction is exactly that. Kyle is okay at carpentry, and Chris at groundworks. However, they should not be taking on, for example, plumbing jobs, as they have caused so much damage to my property, as a result of their 'plumbing', that I have had to employ several different contractors to put their work right. I had no option but to sack them part way through replumbing my bathroom when I realised that they had little clue what to do, despite assuring me that they were competent in this area. Although they seem amicable guys, I have been left with doors that don't shut, a damaged kitchen, and skirting that is not fitted properly. A bathroom leaking in 6 places, 2 damaged radiators and another not refitted. Avoid...save yourself the grief!

Brian completed the bay window plastering job today. From the start he was prompt, professional and clear with his plan with sound knowledge of tricky plastering jobs associated with victorian houses like mine. He gave good advice from his knowledge of plastering and was helpful with other building issues discussed. Always leaving the working area clean and even ensuring his tools where clean at the end of the job. Genuine nice chap whom is trustworthy, and enjoys a chat. Super plasterer and 100% recommended and will be the person I go to when I trash the rest of my house.

Adrian arrived promptly this morning as arranged and widened the space between kitchen units with the obvious skill and attention to detail of a very experienced craftsman. Meanwhile Adrian's apprentice, Alex, drilled a hole and hung a hall mirror at no extra cost. We now have room for a dishwasher in the kitchen and Adrian has offered to plumb this in as soon as it is delivered. We have discussed other jobs needed doing around the house and have confidence that Adrian and Alex will complete these with the same efficiency demonstrated this morning. Thank you guys.
