Jim responded within minutes to my request on My Builder and was able to fix a time very quickly to come and look at one of my double garage doors that had become very difficult to open after years of not being used. It was a difficult job given the age and really poor condition of the doors and I didn’t want to spend money having them replaced so I wasn’t expecting a full repair. Excellent from start to finish (almost). I say almost because there is a job they couldn't quite complete due to a roof leak 🙈. They are coming back to do the remaining job when the roof is repaired. John's a very nice decent man who won't add work to make money and can do almost anything (except roofing 😂). The people he brings to work with him are also knowledgeable and lovely. A few ugly extras reared their head during the process (extra damp) and it was dealt with by them without stressing me out. I have recommended them to my sister and I will have then back when I move later in the year. Absolute disgrace of a tradesman!! After I phoned & confirmed job was told no problem I will see you Tuesday, Tuesday came and he turned up 1hr late (good start) got ladder, pva glue, dust sheet out of van started brushing on pva and then once my partner was busy in kitchen he packed up (quiet as a mouse) and left without saying a word.
