Jordan came to quote for clearing the back garden and repairing some stone/concrete stairs at the back of the house. Of all the tradesmen that came Jordan was the only one that was saying exactly what I wanted to hear on how he would repair the stairs. His work was first class and he carried out the job quickly and very efficiently. His price was reasonable and he did not hit me with any hidden costs he did, however, fix a leaking radiator while on site without charging. John’s team did a good job I am really happy with the result. I wanted to remove a load bearing wall between the lounge and the kitchen for a kitchen dining area. Span 2.8 meters. After an initial visit ca. 30 min I was confident he will do the work. He suggested structural calculations and I had to send an application to the council. I found this suggestion very helpful. John did take care the structural calculations for the steel beam and ordered the skip to remove the old bricks. The actual job was planned for the Saturday but because John’s Van was not available we agreed to postpone it to Sunday. Finally the team arrived the Tuesday by lunchtime. This was a letdown a bit. Also my wife became a bit annoyed. She felt the job is never going to happen. That all caused misunderstanding. The job itself went very quick half a day. They did ask questions to agree on the beam position and explained what the job is going to involve. The quality of the job was excellent.
