Luke arrived on time on short notice, observed what needed to be done, and stayed to carry out the work on the agreed price. He was explaining my options beforehand, left the place clean and tidy, and answered any doubts and questions I had. I was very pleased with his work. then why the negative feedback? I paid in cash when the work was completed and was promised an invoice/worksheet later in the day via email - he put down my email address on the spot. no receipt was received, so I texted him the day after. another promise, still nothing. one week later, sent another message via mybuilder. another promise made again, still no receipt received. at this point, I got fed up with the empty promises. lesson learned: pay for the work only if you already seen the invoice!

Well, previously I had left a good review of the work that Rich and his team did. To be fair, the actual work they did was good. The problems actually came afterwards, which is why I'm rewriting this review now. Rich promised that he would sort out the paperwork for my new boiler which he commissioned along with my bathroom refit. He never did, despite me chasing him repeatedly for months, and months, and months. He gave every excuse under the sun for not doing it, avoided my messages, promised to sort it then didn't, you name it, he tried it. He is as slippery as an eel and dishonest. Do not trust him. He seems to want to please his customers, but only as long as nothing goes wrong. If it does, he will try to avoid you like the plague. I would not trust him again. I am now trying to sell my house without a boiler warranty, despite one being promised. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
