Hi, I'm Mark and I have been in the trade for over 35 years. I like to take good pride in my work and do a good hard days work to always satisfy my customers. I have a small friendly, hard working team who can transform and maintain your property and garden to an excellent standard. I have many references and a large portfolio of my work that I can share with you.
The good: I am pleased with the results which were done to a very good standard. Some of the work was more difficult than first thought, but they persisted. A small amount of additional work was done without charge. The team were friendly and helpful. Not so good: Despite being assured that the work was to be carried out over 2 consecutive days, it wasn't. After the first day, there was a gap of 2 days before they returned. The work required 3 visits and on 2 occasions they turned up without warning. I'd have preferred a call to let me know they were intending to visit. The fitting of the back gate was initially not done very well and not how I wanted. To be fair, they were happy to have another go in order to achieve a good outcome. I was asked for part payment before the work was completed, which I had been assured would not be necessary. Overall I am happy, and I would use them again as the quality of the work was good and I am happy with the end result. Was very pleased that Antony and Simon responded to my request for fitting laminate flooring to complete a recently redecorated downstairs toilet. They came to me (in Sidmouth) mid-Saturday afternoon having finished a job in Exeter. They did an excellent and thorough job at a very keen price which I was happy to augment as they had done such excellent work. I have a narrow access mini digger business. I have been around diggers for many years. My machines go down to 690mm wide. I do all aspects of groundworks. Landscaping, slabbing, preparation work for drives, block paving ,artificial grass. I also have a narrow dump truck. And work alongside other trades. I also have CPCS card for the big machines. I am friendly and reliable.

Jason & his wonderful colleague came to our rescue on the same day we were in a desperate state to rectify an awful attempt at a patio from a bogus 'professional'. Jason communicated fully, worked full days and kept us fully updated throughout the job (whilst working from home!)... Jason ensured he was up front about the errors in the previous work, explaining why these were issues and the impact that there would be if they were not rectified - essential for us as we needed someone to explain this. Regarding the work completed, Jason ensured he took time and care, giving us a top quality finish at an excellent price. I have to admit that sadly, initially we made a huge mistake & posted our job on a well known social media page.... this resulted in us not getting the guarantee of top quality professionals such as Jason.... My advice to anyone who is considering Groundworks of any kind, please contact Jason.... he is a really likeable character, personable, professional and accommodating. We are a Devon-based company, specialising in outdoor home improvements. We’ve been transforming the outdoor spaces of residential and commercial properties across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset.
Our front and side of house paths were patchy plain concrete and spoiling the overall look of our house. We had seen other houses in the area with resin bound paths and drives and decided that we should have sparkly effect medium grey paths to complement our mixed dark and light grey brick block driveway. Richard from OHI Ltd came and surveyed our requirements at short notice and issued a quote within a day. We accepted the quote and a date for the works was agreed subject to weather conditions. The concrete path preparation works with new manhole covers and concrete repairs were carried out on the agreed day and the laying of the resin followed a few days later to suit weather conditions. Richard and his family team were very helpful throughout and kept us informed of the work progress and weather effects. We now have great decorative paths and that neighbours have also commented on the work as completed. Are we happy, ohhhh yusss we are.
