From the very first visit to assess our job, James has been a star! Reliable and trustworthy, with a wealth of knowledge, James came up with a great permeable, paved patio solution to extend from our wooden decking, to cover a soggy clay area which didn't get much sun. They did a satisfactory job and seemed very stingy with the materials to keep the costs down and increase their profits and blame customers they aren’t paying them enough, when asked to do a proper job. At the end of the day they finished the job, but they aren’t experienced for a proper job. They said it would take 2 days and took nearly a week to do 3.5m x 4m patio. The work wasn’t finished to an excellent standard but it was satisfactory. Workmanship is not their strong suit. Stew was and his crew are awesome! He was thoughtful, thorough and consistent from giving a quote right through to completing the job. Him and his guys worked so hard and quickly but without any compromise on quality. He clearly knows his job inside out, I had porcelain tiles in the back garden and a block paved drive that required quite a lot of digging out and clearing. Tony and the lads did an amazing job with both our driveway and back garden. After undertaking a large renovation both or front garden/drive and back garden were a state. From the initial consult to the final product Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive and put my wife and I at ease that we were in good hands. Tony and the team turned up on time and put in some serious man hours throughout the week and turned the job around in 6 days. Incredibly neat and tidy finish and cleaned up after the job was done and all for a very reasonable price too. I’d recommend Hardstonenti anyone looking for a driveway/garden refresh
